Anti Ragging Cell
The Anti-Ragging Cell at MES AIMAT aims to create a safe and conducive environment for all students, free from any form of ragging. We firmly believe in fostering a healthy and respectful campus culture where every student feels secure and can fully focus on their academic and personal growth.
What is Ragging?
Ragging refers to any act that causes physical or mental harassment, intimidation, or humiliation to a student within educational institutions. It is strictly prohibited and against the rules and ethics of our institution.
Our Objectives:
Prevention: We work tirelessly to prevent any instances of ragging within the campus by creating awareness among students about the repercussions of such activities.
Support: The Anti-Ragging Cell provides a platform for students to report any incidents of ragging confidentially. We assure complete confidentiality and take swift action against the offenders.
Counseling: We offer counseling services to both the victim and the offender, focusing on educating them about the ill effects of ragging and helping them to reintegrate into the campus community.
Awareness Campaigns: We conduct regular awareness campaigns in collaboration with other departments and student organizations to spread knowledge about the consequences of ragging and the laws governing it.
Vigilance: Our team remains vigilant and monitors the campus environment to detect and prevent any potential raging incidents. We take immediate action against anyone found involved in such activities.
How to Report Ragging?
If you witness or experience any form of ragging, we encourage you to report it immediately. Your anonymity will be completely maintained.
Legal Consequences:
Ragging is a serious offense and is punishable under the law. Perpetrators can face severe consequences, including suspension, expulsion, and even imprisonment.
We urge all students, faculty, and staff members to abide by our institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and join us in creating a safe and inclusive campus environment.
